At this time, we only convert 8mm reels. All silent 8mm projector reels to DVD include: Cleaning of film, 3D navigational menus, title, laser-etched label, and personalized DVD cover of your choice.

How many 8mm reels will fit on a DVD? To provide the highest possible video quality, we use a 10-Mbps DVD data transfer rate, which means one hour of 8mm or Super8 footage will fit on a 4.7GB DVD. Depending on your format (8mm or Super8), you can get 15-20 three-inch reels, 4-5 full five-inch reels, 3-4 full six-inch reels or 2 full seven-inch reels. Once one DVD is full, we simply move on the next, and label everything appropriately ("disc 1 of 3", "disc 2 of 3", etc.). There is no additional charge if your order takes up more than one DVD.
